Recruiting Certifications to Consider
Another way to stay at the top of your field is to continuously grow through acquiring new recruiter certifications that will help you balance your expertise learned on the job with skillsets that can be developed in the classroom. Here are some to consider.
SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional)
The SHRM-SCP certification is for individuals that have a work history of at least three years performing strategic level HR/HR-related duties; or for SHRM-CP credential holders who have held the credential for at least three years and are working in, or are in the process of transitioning to, a strategic level role. Candidates for the SHRM-SCP certification are not required to hold an HR title and do not need a degree to apply.
Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR) by Recruiter Academy
Recruiter Academy’s Certified Recruiter Program, which includes the possibility of focusing on diversity, is designed to improve performance for talent acquisition professionals. It provides recruiters, recruitment managers, and entire recruitment organizations with a mechanism to evaluate and validate elite recruiting performance.
Certified Professional in Learning & Performance by ATD
The Association for Talent Development’s CPLP certification has certain prerequisites, including at least five years of professional work experience in talent development or related fields, as well as having completed 60 hours of professional development within the last five years.
